Karina's Beginnings
The story of our brand began in 2001, when the very first Slumbersacs were designed and sold in England. In 2012, single mother Karina took over the company, driven by her love for children and her passion for creating high-quality baby sleeping bags. Two years later, she introduced her own innovation – the sleeping bag with feet – and became the inventor of an entirely new product category. From the shores of southern England to a small village in Thuringia, and ultimately to one of Germany’s fashion capitals, the Schlummersack journey has been one of growth, creativity, and dedication.
