All of the factories in Turkey are family owned and pay higher than average wages to their staff. I was very impressed with the high standard of manufacturing, which includes weaving, sewing and embroidering of our award-winning sleeping bags. More than 200 people work for Slumbersac in our three factories, ensuring safe, legal and excellent quality products.
I also visited a new factory in Turkey that had provided us with new samples, so we can expand our exciting product ranges. They will become a Slumbersac supplier in the coming months.
As always I came back with lots of ideas for new products and some great stories of the people who work for us in the factories. Some of those we will share with you soon, so watch this space!
